The award will be presented in the following categories: Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Displays, Embedded Vision, Hardware, Safety & Security, SoC / IP / IC Design, Software, Startup, and Tools. This prestigious accolade, awarded by an internationally renowned jury, serves as a high-profile platform that offers a glimpse into the future of embedded technology.

On-site at embedded world 2026, the embedded community will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite among all embedded award nominees! The winner will be honored with the community choice award on the evening of March 10, 2026.

Then editor in chief of the German electronics publication DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK, Caspar Grote has been part of the team that has started embedded world Exhibition&Conference in 2003. Today, Caspar is member of the Steering Board for embedded world Conference, representing the conference organizer Componeers. Within the embedded award jury, Caspar is taking care of the startup category. Caspar holds an electronics engineering degree from University of Applied Sciences Munich.
